The workshop aims to create awareness,  appreciation and provide understanding of FEA and its fundamental working principles. During the three day workshop participant will be exposed to the structure of FEA system and the steps/ methodology  in carrying out the analysis. Case studies will be discussed to further emphasize the importance and usefulness of FEA in product developement.

Instructor profile

Mr. Ir. Amir Radzi is a lecturer currently attached to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UiTM, Shah Alam. Prior to this, he was a lecturer at the Dept. of Engineering Design and Manufacture, Faculty of Engineering, UM for the past three years. Before joining the academia he was working in SIRIM Bhd as a researcher/engineer for 11 years where his works include design and development of consumer  products, automotive and aerospace components, and various industrial machines. His current research interest is impact energy absorption of structure and structural crashworthiness.
